What characterises the textile trends? Naturalness seems to be the word most often used by the material experts. The focus is on qualities and structures reminiscent of nature, such as flame yarn effects, bark-like textures and braiding. Artisanal weaves such as herringbone play an important role. The power of plants is also expressed in the print designs with the plant trend of summer 2024 revolving primarily around leaves and trees.
The colour palette continues to be defined by pastels, summery and light – but at the same time very ‘zappy’. Citrus tones like Limelight and Shadow Lime give the most beautiful glimpses of the summer to come. Fresh Kelly Green, warm Peach Pink combined with dark Sun Dried Tomato or light Rosé Quartz act as a colourful feel-good paradise. Honey shades are welcome mood lifters and are combined with neutrals. Deep Lake and Ice Green provide cool accents.
